Message from the Principal
at St. Paul’s Catholic School:

Dear Family and Friends,

Throughout the last few days several school districts in Idaho have decided to close due to concerns in regard to COVID-19 (coronavirus).  In order to prevent community spread, St. Paul’s will close as well starting on Monday, March 16th. During this week of our closure (March 16-19), these days will be treated as “snow days,” without instruction.

Teachers and staff will work in the coming days (Monday-Thursday) to prepare for distance learning and/or virtual school (depending on grade level).  We want to be prepared for an extended time of school closure, if it is should be necessary.  We will also have extra time to deep clean and sanitize our buildings.

In the event we do stay out, students will be able to come to school to collect materials immediately after spring break (March 30th), if necessary–watch for announcements near the end of break.

My hope is that distance learning and/or virtual school will be unnecessary, but we will be organized and ready in the event of a longer closure. I will stay in communication with you as frequently as possible to keep you updated on any relevant information.

Students will not attend school through the end of spring break (March 29), and we will then re-evaluate whether there is need to begin distance learning/virtual school.

Thank you for your support and your prayers!  Stay safe and healthy.

In Christ we conquer.
Fred Martin, Principal
